Create and manage my offers and products
To sell your products on our Marketplace, you can choose between two methods of importing offers, depending on the number of offers you wish to publish and your technical resources:
- The manual method by following this path : My seller account > Offer > Add an offer
- The automatic method via CSV by following this path: My seller account > Offer > Add bulk offers
- The automatic method via API: if you wish to automate the addition of your offers to our platform, API connectivity is included in your seller subscription. Contact us via our contact form by clicking here if you are a seller on Darty.com and by clicking here if you are a seller on Fnac.com, you will be put in touch with one of our representatives. Please allow 2 to 3 days for the connection to be operational.
Our sales partners must provide information on the essential characteristics of the goods and services on offer. We invite you to describe as precisely as possible all the qualitative and quantitative elements of the product or service. This will ensure that potential buyers are not misled as to the characteristics of the product, the associated guarantees, its condition or its price, and will thus limit claims and refunds.
– It is important not to position an offer on a product whose characteristics are not 100% similar:
- Example – Single SIM smartphone on a dual SIM card.
– It is important to specify in your offers :
- The exact status of the product. The values in this field can be :
11: New
1: Second-hand – Perfect
2: Second-hand – Very good condition
3: Second-hand – Good condition
4: Used – Fair condition - All information relating to delivery, such as costs and delivery times.
- Conditions for taking back used products (AGEC law – 1-for-1 trade-in).
- The conditions for returning the product (customer withdrawal, order cancellation).
- The conditions for handling complaints and after-sales service.
- The conditions for exercising the legal guarantee of conformity and the commercial guarantee.
If your offers do not find the corresponding products, you can create them yourself in our catalogue by clicking here. All you have to do is enter your e-mail address (the same as the one you use to log in to your FNAC and DARTY seller area) and create your password using the forgot password function.
You have the choice of creating them manually or in bulk via an Excel file or API.

As a professional seller, you undertake to sell only products that belong to you or that you have the right to sell. Our catalogue does not include products that are not in the present categories or that are considered dangerous/regulated (weapons, alcohol, animals, etc.).
Best practice for products sheet images :
- A product always has an image! A product with an image will sell 9 times more than one without.
- A quality image, to ensure acceptance: Our teams ensure that the images you send us comply with a few rules
- No text, watermarks or logos
- No set-pieces or images embedded in the main image
- No black backgrounds on your images
Best practice for products sheets descriptions :
- A description can be 4000 characters long! Give as much information as possible, put yourself in your customer’s shoes: “Do I have enough information to be sure that the product will suit me? = Fewer complaints/withdrawals and more sales!
- Use text that is different from that used on other marketplaces. This promotes better natural referencing and increases your chances of being found on the usual search engines.
- Optimise your description with the right keywords! Mieux vous ciblez les mots-clés dans votre description, mieux vous remonterez dans les résultats de recherche de FNAC.COM et/ou DARTY.COM et sur les moteurs de recherche
- Space out your text! Feel free to make paragraphs using tags<br>, think about mobile customers.
- Do not insert false keywords (brands competing with the product, equivalent devices, etc.), this is more disappointing for the customer during their searches and your product may be removed from the FNAC.COM and/or DARTY.COM catalog
- Do not insert commercial information in the product sheet: Price, name of your store, URL, etc. or on the condition of the product
Best practice for products titles :
- A title will consist of the general information of the product + specific information:
Product Type + Brand + Model Name + Feature 1 + Feature 2 + Feature 3
Ex : PC Ultra-Portable Asus R414BA-GA070T 14″ 720Go SSD i5 2,7GHz - A title should not be too long, the maximum length is 255 characters, but we recommend not exceeding 60-70 characters
- If it’s a manufacturer’s spare part or accessory, remember to include the manufacturer’s reference in the title:
Ex: External glass – oven door – Electrolux – 3871762153
e.g.: 10mm chuck – cordless drill – BOSCH 160857106
Best practice for products attributs :
The files available to you allow you to enter precise attributes/characteristics for your products. Use them as much as possible for several reasons reasons :
- Better natural referencing
- Better referencing in the FNAC.COM and/or DARTY.COM search engines
- The possibility of appearing in the filters (e.g. If I don’t enter the screen size of my TV and the customer uses the screen size filters, you won’t appear in their search results).
in their search results) - Your product will appear more easily in the FNAC.COM and/or DARTY.COM menus and sub-menus.
50% of attributes completed = 2.2 times more sales
Customer satisfaction and your success are our top priorities, which is why we rely on your dedication to our Marketplace customers.
A customer satisfied with their shopping experience is a creator of potential new buyers.
Tackling fraud and counterfeiting
Our Marketplace is a secure exchange platform, and we strive to guarantee it. You agree to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards and to sell only the products you have the rights to sell.
- Counterfeit products
- Counterfeits are strictly prohibited.
- If your products are generic or compatible products do not put offers on the product sheet of the original brand: do not use a logo or brand that is not yours.
- False condition of the product
- It is completely forbidden to sell used or reconditioned goods that have been marked as brand-new in your offers.
- Blackmail
- It is strictly forbidden to ask customers to modify their ratings/reviews on the order to obtain a refund or a service from you.
If we notice that your products offered for sale on the Marketplace are the subject of customer feedback indicating that they have received a counterfeit or a non-compliant product, we will thoroughly investigate to verify the veracity of customer testimonies. If the fraud is proven, we will immediately suspend your shop, as well as the payment of the sums that are due for a period of up to 3 to 12 months in order to refund the customers who bought the products concerned.
For sellers who use their own aggregator or API, you can find your Shop ID in your seller account by checking this tutorial To find your Shop ID.
However, if you need your Shop UID (API key), contact your account manager or contact us via our contact form by clicking here if you are a seller on Darty.com and/or by clicking here if you are a seller on Fnac.com.
You can enter your default offer comments in your seller account by following this tutorial Default comments on offers.
You can download your offer feed error report to make it easier to identify corrections to be made to your feed from your seller account by following this tutorial Consult my offer rejection reports
You can improve the visibility and success of your offers by following a few good practices :
As well as providing reassurance for your customers, these indicators determine the visibility of your offers on our site (access to the Buybox, top seller status, etc.):
- Rating: the average of your customer ratings must be higher than 5/5
- Claim rate: must be less than 5%.
- Acceptance rate: must be higher than 95%.
- Spontaneous repayment rate: must not exceed 5%.
By optimising these quality indicators, you can even become a “TOP SALESMAN”, a distinction awarded to certain experienced salespeople who have demonstrated their operational excellence.
Once you’re a Top Seller, you’ll find a gold starred medal next to the name of your shop.
The following criteria must be met to qualify for “TOP SELLER” status:
- 6 months minimum seniority on the Fnac Darty MarketPlace
- Number of orders ≥ 100
- Average rating ≥ 7/5
- Order acceptance rate ≥ 95
- Complaints/litigation rate ≤ 3
- Spontaneous repayment rate ≤ 5
- Rate of orders delivered late ≤ 5%.
- Response times for customer queries/complaints (over the last 6 months) ≤ 48 hours

To highlight your offers as a marketplace seller, you can contact your account manager to request a test of your products. Once you have validation from your account manager, you send them your products for testing.
The tests and measurements carried out provide objective and independent information on the real performance of products. The results are then published with your offer and on our website L’Éclaireur Fnac, le média du choix éclairé.
Tested products benefit from greater visibility on our website and a quality label recognized by customers.
